Equifax user management platform (Saas)

I had the opportunity to design a cutting-edge user management platform for Equifax, aimed at housing a variety of digital subscription services. This platform was developed with a focus on onboarding and managing users and subscriptions for B2B customers. Additionally, it provides Equifax’s B2B customers and financial institutions the capability to manage their end consumers' financial details, reflecting the platform's SaaS nature.

Key Features of the New Platform Design:

Comprehensive User Onboarding and Management:

  • Designed an intuitive and streamlined onboarding process for new users, ensuring a smooth start for B2B customers.

  • Developed robust user management functionalities, allowing administrators to efficiently handle user accounts and subscriptions.

Billing and Financial Insights:

  • Equipped administrators with tools to view detailed billing-related information for each customer.

  • Enabled the generation of digital summaries and comprehensive reports, providing actionable financial insights

Product Access and Permissions:

  • Allowed B2B customers to administer product access and permissions for their staff, ensuring secure and appropriate usage of Equifax services.

  • Facilitated the management of B2C consumer information held by Equifax, offering a seamless experience for financial institutions.

Integration of Third-Party Applications:

  • Evaluated the effectiveness of various third-party applications for integration into the platform, enhancing its functionality and value proposition.

This design project not only demonstrated my ability to create user-friendly and efficient management tools but also highlighted my expertise in developing comprehensive SaaS platforms. The final design ensures that Equifax's B2B customers can effortlessly manage their digital subscriptions and financial details, fostering a more efficient and productive user experience.

Equifax new customer onboarding

The aim of the project is to create a design solution that enables Equifax administrators to create a new user profile by first creating a user identifier, or name, similar to a bank branch name. This is so that Equifax can onboard their B2B customer groups. These groups would typically be division of an organisation, similar to a bank branch). This creation of an identifier is to help in manage billing, access and permissions of each user associated with the group.

The primary objective of this project was to design a comprehensive user management solution that empowers Equifax administrators to efficiently create and manage user profiles for their B2B customer groups. The solution centers around the concept of creating a unique user identifier, akin to a bank branch name, which simplifies the onboarding process for B2B customer divisions.

Project Details:

  1. User Identifier Creation:

    • Designed a system where administrators can generate a unique user identifier or name for each B2B customer group. This identifier functions similarly to a bank branch name, providing a clear and structured way to categorize and manage different divisions within an organization.

  1. Onboarding B2B Customer Groups:

    • Streamlined the onboarding process by allowing administrators to quickly create user profiles for entire customer groups. These groups often represent divisions of larger organizations, similar to the structure of a bank with multiple branches.

  1. Managing Billing, Access, and Permissions:

    • Developed robust functionalities to manage billing information for each user associated with a customer group. This includes detailed billing reports and summaries to ensure transparency and accountability.

    • Created tools for administrators to assign and manage access permissions for each user, ensuring secure and appropriate access to Equifax's digital subscription services.

    • Enabled administrators to efficiently handle product access and permissions for staff within the B2B customer groups, enhancing the overall management process.

  1. Design and Development Process:

    • Conducted thorough research to understand the specific needs and challenges faced by Equifax administrators and their B2B customers.

    • Facilitated co-design workshops with stakeholders to gather insights and validate design concepts.

    • Developed detailed personas and user scenarios to guide the design process, ensuring that the solution met the diverse needs of different user groups.

    • Created service blueprints and task analyses to map the end-to-end user journey and identify key touchpoints and pain points.

    • Designed mid-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, incorporating feedback from usability testing and stakeholder reviews to refine the designs.

    • Delivered pixel-perfect, high-fidelity prototypes ready for development, ensuring that the final solution was both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Outcome:

The final design solution enabled Equifax administrators to effortlessly create and manage user profiles for B2B customer groups, significantly improving the onboarding process. The unique user identifier system provided a clear structure for managing billing, access, and permissions, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience. This project not only demonstrated my ability to create user-centered design solutions but also highlighted my expertise in developing comprehensive SaaS platforms that meet complex business requirements.
