Research and User Validation
Over the years, I have meticulously planned and facilitated a range of research co-design workshops and usability testing sessions, ensuring that each project is grounded in a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors. My expertise extends to contributing valuable insights to usability reports, synthesizing data from these sessions to inform and refine design solutions. These collaborative workshops and testing sessions have been instrumental in uncovering user pain points, identifying key opportunities for improvement, and validating design concepts through iterative feedback. By integrating these findings into the design process, I have consistently delivered user-centric solutions that enhance functionality, usability, and overall user satisfaction.
University of Sydney Acdemic Integrity current and future state research
One of the most recent porjects I worked on was at the University of Sydney. The goal was to ensure that the institution met compliance mandates to support at-risk students. This project was not just about following regulations; it was about making a meaningful impact on students' lives.

First Net Advisor (Colonial First State)
The aim of the FNE error messages project is to enable employers to fulfill their obligations when a super contribution has failed. In addition;
Understand employer perspective concerning meeting their regulatory obligations and messaging Behaviors
Capture unique employer behaviors including goals, attitudes, tasks and pain-points Journeys
Capture and map end-to-end journeys for all employer segments (small medium large) Systems
Better understand how our employers use systems to complete their daily activities
Thermal comfort is an educational game for students
The overarching aim of the current project is to design, build, and support an educational tool for teaching thermal comfort and sustainability in NSW primary schools.
Based on insights and requirements gathered from interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts, the website's information architecture (IA), detailed user interface designs (in wireframe form), and an alpha version of the educational game were developed.
Following this, usability testing was conducted with representative users to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed user interface designs and IA in facilitating the simple completion of key user journeys/goals. Additionally, usability testing was conducted on the game with representative users to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction with the product.
The purpose of this report is to detail the key findings and recommended updates to be made to the IA, wireframes, and the game.
Hotel.com research and user testing
The primary aim of the design research is to discover the best way to provide a price comparison and price matching feature on the Hotels.com website that is useful and valuable to customers whilst retaining users on the Hotels.com website.
The primary business objectives of the Price Comparison project are:
• Encourage users to stay within the site
• Increase conversion rates
• Instil trust in compared prices
• Increase the Hotels.com brand image
• Make it easier for users to see Hotels.com prices and the prices of the competitor
UBank User Testing Plan
The aim of the test plan is to improve the interaction design, validate user flows, test comprehension of the content and uncover any usability issues.
UBank are conducting three rounds of user testing to validate five key areas of our design for our HomeLoan Tracker.
These main objectives are:-
User understands the process and knows whats next.
IA structure and navigation makes sense.-
Document requirements are clear.-
Loan progress and status is clear and informative.-
Able to rectify a problem.
